AO “Transpnevmatika” is a winner of the competition “Investment project of the year – 2017”

On 23th of August took place in Nizhniy Novgorod on the territory of All-Russian ZAO “Nizhniy Novgorod fair” the ceremony of sizing up of the annual regional competition “Investment project of the year – 2017”. Its competitors were investors, who had realized in 2017 on the region’s territory the investment projects with the investments’ size no less than 10 mln. roubles.

The competition’s organizer is Government of Nizhniy Novgorod Region. The action is carried out annually, since 2006, with the purpose of increasing of Nizhniy Novgorod Region’s investment appeal, attraction and stimulation of investors who had made the greatest income in Nizhniy Novgorod Region’s socio-economic development.

The competition “Investment project of the year” enables the marking of the most significant for the region investment projects in different economy’s branches, which have started or were realized during calendar year. By the winners’ choosing the main criteria are total investments volume that was invested in project’s realization, the term of project’s recoupment, quantity of the created (saved) workplaces, the average wages at the company, presence of production’s quality certificates, as well of the official Nizhniy Novgorod Region’s awards. Hereby, not only investments volume or project’s range are considered, as well its significance for the district.

The investment projects those reached the competition’s final in this year were presented in eight nominations: “Investment project of the year in the range of commercial production”, “Investment project of the year in the range of commercial production’s modernization”, “Investment project of the year in the range of agricultural branch”, “Investment project of the year in the range of house properties”, “Investment project of the year in the range of servicing”, “Initiative of the year”, “Investment undertaking of the year”, “The most investment hospitable district”.

According to the competition’s results became AO “Transpnevmatika” with the investment’s project “System of disc brake for the speed electric train ES2G “Lastochka” in the nomination “Investment project in the range of commercial production”. The proper patent of the Nizhniy Novgorod Region’s Government handed over to the Director General of the factory V.A. Batenkov the deputy chairman of the regional Legislative Assembly Olga Vladimirovna Shchetinina.
“The awarding of the winner in the range of commercial production became for me a pleasant mission. After all, is the Nizhniy Novgorod industry nowadays a leader among the regions of PFO quantitatively relative to the created up-to-date manufacturing technologies. I am sure that the investments in creating of new capabilities are a driver of economic growth, a factor of competitive recovery of the whole region”, — noted O.V. Shchetinina.
