Charity as a soul’s call

The kindness, generosity, ability to sympathize and to feel with the others, to be inspired with the others’ expectations, tendency to help the people those indeed need it – these are characteristic features of the charitable person, without these features it is impossible to manage the well-doing and indeed make the benefit.
These features and together with them need for making better the life of his countrymen are peculiar to the Director General of AO “Transpnevmatika” V.A. Batenkov.

The charity of V.A. Batenkov was repeatedly awarded with the awards of different degree. Now to those awards was added another — Vladimir Alexandrovitch became a laureate of the regional prize of public recognition in the area of the charity and of the voluntary activity “Nizhniy Novgorod Phoenix”, that was grounded and carrying out by the support of the Government of the Nizhniy Novgorod Region and by the participation of the regional Charitable council.

The prize “Nizhniy Novgorod Phoenix” is a mark of respect and appreciation of the Nizhniy Novgorod citizens to their countrymen, those had made the heavy contribution to decision of the social problems both of individual citizens those have found themselves in a difficult life situation, and of the whole region, to the preservation and development of standards of charity and voluntary activity in Nizhniy Novgorod land. The awards ceremony of the prize’s winners according to the results of 2016 took place on the 21th of June of this year in Nizhniy Novgorod, in the Rukavishnikov’s memorial estate. In it took part the vice-governor of the Nizhniy Novgorod Region E.V. Lulin, the chairman of the Nizhniy Novgorod Region’s Legislative Assembly E.V. Lebedev, as well the employers of Nizhniy Novgorod, the leaders of profit-making and social organizations, the representatives of social institutes, the journalists of the regional mass media.

The prize was handed in eight nominations – “Charitable person of the year”, “Volunteer of the year”, “Goodwill Firm”, “ Initiative in the charity”, “Initiative in the area of the voluntary activity”, “Social mass media of the year”, “Maecenas of the year”, “For the deposit in development of the charity and the voluntary activity in Nizhniy Novgorod Region”. 18 citizens of the Nizhniy Novgorod Region became laureates and diploma-winners of the prize. Vladimir Alexandrovitch Batenkov is admitted as a laureate of the prize in the nomination “Charitable person of the year”.
