in the regime of high activity

From 28 till 31 of August took the representatives of AO “Transpnevmatika” part in the work of the International railway saloon of the space 1520 “PRO//Motion. Expo”, that takes place biyearly on the territory of the experimental railway ring of AO “VNIIZHT” in the town Shcherbinka situated near Moscow.

The saloon is the biggest in Russia exhibition of achievements of the railway transport engineering, where are presented the newest developments in the field of the equipment, special technique, technologies for the rolling-stock’s infrastructure of the leading manufacturers from Russia, CIS’s countries and West Europe. This year in saloon took part 32 countries and 212 exponents, those took seats on territory more than 10 000 square metres, and more than 90 units of technique. According to the program in the context of “PRO//Motion. Expo” took place more than 25 business actions. The daily saloon’s attendance exceeded 6 thousand people, and the “Open way day” gathered more than 30 000 visitors, that became an absolute record.

A key theme of the previous saloon, that took place in the year 2017, became the project “Digital railroad”. The present exhibition also was devoted to the digitaling and to the innovative trends in the branch. During the opening plenary session “Digital transformation and future’s technologies in the railway branch” welcomed the action’s participants the Tanaiste of RF Maxim Akimov and the Austrian federal minister of transport, innovations and technologies Andreas Reichard. There also performed the deputy Minister of RF’s transport Vladimir Tokarev, the Director General-Chairman of government of OAO “Russian railways” Oleg Belozerov, the Director General of AO “Transmashholding” Cyril Lipa, the chief executive director of Siemens Mobility GmbH Sabrina Susson, the Director General of International Railway Unit (UIC) François Davenn, the Director General of AO “Sinara-Transport Machines” Victor Lesh, the chairman of committee of directors and Director General of Alstom Group Henry Poupar-Lafarge and others.

A significant event of the saloon business program became “Day of Austrian technologies”, that strengthened the event’s status as a main professional arena on the international experience’s change. In the exposition that was situated in the pavilions, on the open areas and on rail lines took part the factories from Russia, Republic Belorussia, Switzerland, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Austrian Republic, France, Italy, Poland, Romania. AO “Transpnevmatika” took part traditionally at the exhibition together with the Association of the manufacturers and customers of brake equipment for the railway transport’s rolling-stock. On the delegation under the leading of the executive director A.A. Kurochkin worked the chief designer of NTSZ A.I. Makarov, the brake system chief designer S.S. Starostin, the compressor building chief designer A.Yu. Galkin, the head of industrial property B.A. Rudnyaev and the manager of marketing department A.M. Napylov.

There were presented in the factory’s exposition the samples of the innovative developments – systems of the disc brakes for the railway speed crane KZH-1473 of producing of AO “Kirov machine plant of 1 of May”, the brake cylinder with integrated regulator 670V, the bloc of compressed air purification and drying BOSV 2/2 2,5/1 U2 for the locomotives, the hydraulic dampers, the connector sleeves 369A and R60, the letter – in several modifications.

For our delegation, according to the recalls of the AO “Transpnevmatika”’s representatives, was the exhibition carried out in regime of high activity: was there much “living” business communication with the representatives of the carriage- and locomotive-building factories, both direct at the factory’s exposition and during the special organized conferences. The discussed themes referred mainly to the questions of forming of plan of supply of the manufactured production and perspective developments.

As noted A.A. Kurochkin, the demand for the AO “Transpnevmatika”’s items is increasing, it is not surprising – the factory manufactures the qualitative and inexpensive production. The complexity is that manufacturing works nowadays literally on the limit of the existing possibilities, that is why it is necessary to continue to grow the capacities, steadily carrying out the measures on the technical re-equipment of the main and auxiliary shops.
