Connector sleeve R60

 

Designation connector sleeves are intended for provision of the flexible permanent connection of the brake system’s components with the purpose of the compressed air supply with pressure up to 1 MPa.
Applying Locomotives, motor-vehicle rolling stock, passenger cars of the locomotive traction, special rolling stock.
Note are fabricated according to TU 3020-573-05744521-2018.
Distinctive features the sleeves consist of direct nozzles type 1 (pos.1) or of the nozzles type 2 (pos.2), or type 3 (pos.3) or with their different combinations, of the bushing (pos.5), of the sleeve nut (pos.4), of rubber ring (pos.10), of rubber sleeve of inner diameter DN (pos.6). They can have a protection – metal cover (pos.8) and fire-protective covers (pos.7) by presence of the order by the customer.

Sleeve’s identification code:

R60-X1.X2.X3.X4.X5.X6

where X1 is a nominal inner diameter, mm – 8, 16, 20, 25 (see drawing 2);

X2 is a type of nozzle from one sleeve’s end-1, 2, 3 (see drawing 2);

X3 is a type of nozzle from another sleeve’s end -1, 2, 3 (see drawing 2);

X4 is an angle of mutual bracing of the nozzles from 15 to 345º with interval 15º (see drawing 1). Angle of mutual bracing of the nozzles is not indicated if there is no turn or the turn is equal to zero.

X5 is a presence of security- 0 misses, 1- from temperature, 2- from mechanical effects, 3- from temperature and mechanical effects (see drawing 3);

X6 is a sleeve’s length from 150 to 5000mm with the interval 10 mm

Sample of the record by the order of sleeve R60 with the nominal internal diameter of the rubber sleeve 8 mm, from both sleeve’s sides are installed the nozzles type 3 (drawing 2), angle of mutual bracing of the nozzles 270º (drawing 1), without presence of security against the temperature and mechanical effects, sleeve’s length is 2100 mm:
