Brake Cylinders 710, 710-1, 710-2,710-3,710.1, 710.1-03

Designation: Establishment of braking force in the brake rigging.

Application: Freight cars of the railroads’ rolling stock.

The cylinder’s cover, front and back caps and piston are cast-iron.

Features: Rod is rigidly bounded with the piston. On the piston is established the tightening rubber collar and the oil ring. In the front cap is there screen filter. A design feature of brake cylinders 710.1 and  710.1-03 is the location of the drain channel in the front cover (the drain channel is located toward the mating flange).
